Star Trek: Bridge Crew takes place on the bridge of the U.S.S. Aegis, a starship exploring the alternate universe introduced by 2009’s Star Trek reboot. Here, players can take on Star Trek’s most iconic role and serve as Captain - think Kirk or Picard - or assume other classic roles such as Helm, Tactical or Engineer. Gameplay involves managing the tasks and responsibilities associated with your position: that could mean issuing orders, navigating, firing phasers, balancing power or performing an array of other role-related actions. Players must work as a team with their fellow crew members to achieve their mission goals while fending off - or avoiding - the Klingons. The game consists of a 5-mission campaign and a prologue based on Star Trek’s most infamous training mission, the Kobayashi Maru. Beyond the linear campaign, the game also offers randomly created missions, called Ongoing Voyages, focusing on one of four mission types: Defend, Recover, Rescue and Research.
